[She shakes her head.] It doesn't work like that-- or at least, I've never tried it on an inanimate object.

If you are poisoned, though, it helps your body rapidly expunge the toxins. But I don't think it would work on just the drink itself-- it's an organic-based spell.

Huh. So to neutralize it, the poison's got to be in action...

[Henry retracts the drink and... takes another sip of it? Why would you, it was so gross the first time. Oh well. He doesn't react to it as strongly this time, almost like he's just doing it thoughtfully.]

What about somebody who's totally hammered? Does it relieve a hangover faster by removing the alcohol from their blood?

Or at least in the body of a creature. I can't exactly boost the poison-cleansing powers of a ceramic mug. [She offers, pointedly.]

I'm not sure about curing the hangover-- to my understanding, that's simply a withdrawal symptom-- but I could make a person rapidly sober up.

Ooooh. I don't know if people would find that to be incredibly useful or a total nuisance. But I think it's helpful!

[Henry tilts his head; he sets the drink down.]

Say, are you the person I talked to a bit ago who is a witch? Is that what you do? Witchcraft?

Ideally, I'd only use it on a person who wanted to be sober, unless they were in danger. [Ideally. She's done it to make a point before. Oops.] And yes, I am-- a witch, and that person.

Nya ha! Sure am. My name's Henry, but you probably already know that. Thing is, I don't think you told me yours... UNLESS it's just Beatrix, like the weird window said it was.

[Somebody around here hasn't engaged with technology before and doesn't know how to describe a phone. But to partner with his description of it, he frames his thumb and index finger in the way one might to describe the approximate size of the device.]
